When the temperature drops, the first question is always: what fabric should I wear?
At RANG DATA, two of our most popular winter fabrics are Heavy Viscose and Winter Khaddar. Both are warm, but they behave very differently.
Winter Khaddar: The Everyday Workhorse
Khaddar is a handloom-feel cotton. It has a visible texture, a matte finish, and is hard-wearing. It is structured, so it holds its shape well. If you are looking for a suit for daily wear, university, or casual gatherings, Khaddar is the best choice. It breathes well and doesn't feel heavy on the shoulders.
Heavy Viscose: The Evening Choice
Viscose is a dense, softly lustrous weave. Unlike Khaddar, it drapes beautifully. The fabric has a slight shine to it, which makes it look formal. If you are attending a wedding, a dinner, or an evening function, Heavy Viscose will give you that elegant look. It also carries heavy embroidery very well without puckering.
How to Care for Them
Both fabrics need gentle care. Wash them cold, dry them in the shade, and iron from the reverse. Viscose should be handled carefully when wet as it can stretch.
